Weymouth and Portland to be Sailing Venue for 2012 Water Olympics
Situated on the finest small boat sailing waters in northern Europe, Weymouth & Portland National Sailing Academy has been confirmed as the official venue for the Olympic Sailing events in 2012. Tour operatiors are expecting record number of visitors to he area in the lead up to the Olympics.

New Weymouth seafront lighting scheme planned.
Lighting consultants and artists are already developing the lighting scheme project and carrying out initial design work. The exciting and innovative scheme is being planned to replace the existing lamposts, and initial displays have been really well received.

Our caravan is situated on the Weymouth Bay and Sea View Holiday Park, in the village of Preston. The clean, goldren, sandy beaches are right on your doorstep, and you are a 10 minutes walk from Bowleaze Cove.
